Position Available: Administrative Assistant to the Director of Religious Education (DRE)
The Parish and Religious Education office are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated Administrative Assistant. The candidate would work closely with the DRE to provide administrative assistance to our CCD Program (pre- K to Grade 8), Pre- Jordan, Adult Faith Formation, RCIA and our Vacation Bible School. The ideal candidate is a flexible people person that loves the Catholic faith and dedicated to help raising up the next generation of Catholics to bring Jesus to the world. He or she must be a practicing Catholic in good standing, self-motivated and possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as have the ability to keep confidentiality.
The ideal candidate must be competent in administrative and clerical procedures, relevant software (Google, MS, Excel and Word), interpersonal skills, and knowledge of the Catholic faith and culture. He or she must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and be familiar with Sacramental Preparation for First Penance, First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Furthermore, any prospective candidate should be proficient in processing payment of invoices, record and deposits checks, prepare monthly expense reports and be familiar with Quicken or be willing to be trained.
